PAGES - A Family of Block Ciphers

چکیده

PAGES is block cipher family based on the design of Speck, see [1]. However, some intriguing design details of Speck were not used in the design of PAGES. PAGES has block size of 256 bit and comes in three version: PAGES-512, PAGES-768, and PAGES-1024, were the number denotes the key length. The number of rounds is 64, 96, or 128, respectively. PAGES uses variables of 128 bit, that is half the block size.

PAGES+, PAGES-, and PAGES- - Three Families of Block Ciphers

PAGES+ is a family of block ciphers based on block ciphers Speck [2] and PAGES [9]. The block length was increased vom 128 bit to 512 bit and additional rounds were introduced to make the cipher more resistent against attacks. The number of rounds are 64, 96, and 128. The key size are 1024 bit, 1536 bit, and 2048 bit, respectively. The size of variables, as with PAGES, is 128 bit. Thus the vari...

Impossible Differential Cryptanalysis of Reduced-Round Midori64 Block Cipher (Extended Version)

Impossible differential attack is a well-known mean to examine robustness of block ciphers. Using impossible differ- ential cryptanalysis, we analyze security of a family of lightweight block ciphers, named Midori, that are designed considering low energy consumption. Midori state size can be either 64 bits for Midori64 or 128 bits for Midori128; however, both vers...

KATAN and KTANTAN - A Family of Small and Efficient Hardware-Oriented Block Ciphers

In this paper we propose a new family of very efficient hardware oriented block ciphers. The family contains six block ciphers divided into two flavors. All block ciphers share the 80-bit key size and security level. The first flavor, KATAN, is composed of three block ciphers, with 32, 48, or 64-bit block size. The second flavor, KTANTAN, contains the other three ciphers with the same block siz...

Improving the security and efficiency of block ciphers based on LS-designs

LS-designs are a family of bitslice ciphers aiming at efficient masked implementations against side-channel analysis. This paper discusses their security against invariant subspace attacks, and describes an alternative family of eXtended LS-designs (XLS-designs), that enables additional options to prevent such attacks. LSand XLS-designs provide a large family of ciphers from which efficient imp...
